What’s going on in Briago

In these days we planted other 2.5 hectares of Corvinone in the estate of Briago in Valpolicella Valpantena, pursuing our project, especially with native grapes of Valpolicella. The high temperature and the insufficent rainfall of July are creating a bit of drought: the soil is very rocky, the terrain does not retain much water and it is easily dehydrated, it wipes rapidly because of the strong ventilation of this place, due to exposure and altitude, which exceeds 400 m.a.s.l. for much of the vineyard.

Meanwhile, we are preparing the ground for the future new plants, planned for next year.
