From 19 to 24 May, from 10.00 to 19.00.
Verona
Verona Tessile is an international event which transforms for five days the city of Verona in a sort of open museum of textile art. The event, created by the cultural Association Ad Maiora, in collaboration with the Municipality of Verona, takes place for the third year, from the 19th to the 24th of May 2015, inside the museums, in churches, in the most beautiful and evocative places of the old town of Verona. Suggestions of forms and colors related to wine and its world is the theme chosen for this year. The aim of the competition is to interpret through the textile art this theme full of emotional and sensorial cues.
For this reason the Santa Sofia has created a special award: it is dedicated to the work that identify more closely the theme "Colori diVini" (diWine/divine Colors) and the company's values. The winning work will be on display for two months in Santa Sofia winery, so that visitors and art/wine lovers will appreciate it and maybe do a comparison contaminated by different senses, between the sensorial world of taste, of smell, of sight and of touch.
