Step 1 - The project
-
“ It was a long search, with years of inspections, but when I finally found the space I was looking for, I applied myself with all my energy to get it” - Luciano Begnoni
“ The new project will have to reflect the historical identity of the company but it will also be absolutely important for us that the new building is consistent with the principles of environmental sustainability. It is an old building to be rethought and renovated, which should not have any negative impact on the environment.”
In a few years, Santa Sofia in Valpolicella will open a new winery not far from the actual historical headquarters. The choice of a new production site coincides with the important results achieved by the company, as demonstrated by the production of about 650,000 bottles and a territory covering 69 hectares throughout Valpolicella. An estimated investment of EUR 8 million will be allocated to this objective. - March 2022
